Jack Riley arrives in his first season with the North Delta Pirates as a versatile and determined player, ready to make an immediate impact on the field. Now in Grade 10, Jack has been immersed in baseball since the age of four, developing a deep understanding of the game and a strong work ethic that has carried him through a remarkable youth career. Over the years, he has honed his skills with numerous programs, including the Ladner Red Sox (2014–2024), Big League Experience (2022–2023), Caged Athletics (2024), 5Tool Baseball (2008–2024), Whalley Chiefs PBL Bantam (2025), and Delta Blue Jays PBL fall/winter training (2013–2016).
Jack’s most memorable achievement came in 2023, when he helped the Ladner Red Sox capture bronze at Nationals in Woodstock, Ontario, adding to a long list of highlights including multiple tournament championships in Arizona, San Diego, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas with 5Tool Baseball. His versatility as a pitcher, infielder, and outfielder, combined with a high baseball IQ, strong mechanics, and consistent effort, makes him a player who contributes in every facet of the game. Coaches and teammates recognize him as reliable, intelligent, adaptable, and coachable; a teammate who leads by example and always prioritizes the team’s success.
Off the field, Jack balances baseball with a variety of interests, including soccer, skiing, boating, and fishing, and he approaches his academics with equal dedication, maintaining straight A grades while staying involved in training and competition. He is grateful to coaches Doug Miller and Jack Thompson, who have played key roles in shaping him into the player and person he is today.
Jack is a player with dedication, intelligence, and a team-first mindset – someone who thrives under pressure and brings leadership and consistency to every game. He is a committed student-athlete, excelling both on the diamond and in the classroom while maintaining a passion for growth and development.
