North Delta Pirates Unveil Roster; Set Sail into 2025
NORTH DELTA, BC — February 22, 2025
The North Delta Pirates, an 18U AAA BC Minor Baseball team based out of North Delta, is thrilled to announce the release of their upcoming roster for the 2025 single season. Led by a skilled and experienced coaching staff and a diverse group of players, the Pirates sail into their second year with the wind at their backs.
The excitement kicks off on Sunday, April 13th as the North Delta Pirates second year begins with their home opener, double-header against the North Shore Knights at Mackie Park, marking the beginning of what will surely be a thrilling season that runs until the Provincial Tournament July 24 – 27.
The Sunday tilts begin with a morning game at 11:00am followed by an afternoon game at 1:30pm. The 2025 schedule includes 36 league games, with 18 matchups set to take place at Mackie Park and 18 on the road against teams from across the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, and Prince George.
"We are thrilled to introduce our talented roster for the upcoming season," said Jeff Stebbings, Head Coach of the North Delta Pirates. "Our players’ dedication to improvement over the off-season has them prepared for this moment, and they are eager to show that they can contend at the highest level on the field."
In their inaugural year, the North Delta Pirates were a formidable force with a strong emphasis on pitching and fielding. Now, in their second year, the team is ready to take a next step to build on the many successes of 2024.
The 2025 team is balanced with two senior players, ten junior players, and three rookie players, each bringing their own unique talents to the lineup.
"We have a well-rounded team with a mix of experience and youth," said Shaun Jones, Assistant Coach of the North Delta Pirates. "Our coaching staff is committed to helping our players reach their full potential and achieve success on and off the field."
